This Privacy Policy explains how TM Watch (“we”, “us”), a product of FastLegal, handles information when you use the TM Watch application and website. By using the service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account data — your name, email and/or mobile number used to sign in, and your organisation/firm details.
- Portfolio data — the trademark application numbers, marks, classes, clients and notes you add, and the status, documents and deadlines derived for them.
- Registry session data — to fetch status and documents you provide a mobile number that receives a one-time password (OTP) from the IP India portal. OTPs and portal session tokens are used only to complete that fetch and are not retained beyond the session.
- Usage & delivery data — records of alerts and notifications queued or delivered, and basic technical logs needed to operate the service.
How we use it
- To provide the service — sync status, compute deadlines, watch the Journal, generate reports and deliver reminders.
- To deliver alerts by in-app notification, email and (where configured) WhatsApp.
- To secure, maintain and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal data. We use it only to operate TM Watch for you and your organisation.
Registry access is read-only
TM Watch reads public and OTP-gated Registry records on your behalf. It never files, pays, or signs anything with the Registry. Access to the IP India portals is performed politely (rate-limited, honest user-agent) and read-only.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored in a tenant-isolated database, with access scoped to your organisation. Documents and images fetched during a sync are stored on the service’s data volume so you can view them in-app. Raw external payloads are kept with their source URL, fetch time and integrity hash. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us operate TM Watch (for example, email and WhatsApp delivery and payment processing), each bound to use it only to provide their service, and where required by law.
Retention
We retain your account and portfolio data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and thereafter as required by law. You may request deletion of your account data; some records may be retained where legally required.
Your choices
- Update your account and organisation details in Settings.
- Set the mobile number that receives Registry OTPs, or clear it.
- Contact us to access, correct or delete your personal data.
