These Terms govern your use of TM Watch (“the service”), a product of FastLegal. By accessing or using the service you agree to these Terms.
Advisory service — not legal advice
TM Watch is an advisory tool. Every deadline, alert, score, fee estimate and draft it produces is advisory only, carries its statutory basis where applicable, and must be independently verified against the official Trade Marks Registry record. Nothing in the service is legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney–client relationship. You remain responsible for every filing, deadline and decision. For advice on your specific matter, consult a qualified trademark practitioner.
In particular, statutory periods — including the four-month opposition window under s.21(1) of the Trade Marks Act, 1999, which is not extendable — are computed on a best-effort basis from the data available and may be incomplete or out of date. Confirm every date with the Registry.
We never file, pay, or sign
The service reads Registry records and prepares drafts. It does not, and will not, file applications, pay fees, or sign or submit anything with the Registry on your behalf. You complete all such actions yourself.
Your account & responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials secure and your details accurate.
- Use the service lawfully and only for trademarks you are entitled to manage.
- Provide a Registry OTP mobile you are authorised to use.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or the Registry.
Fees & plans
Paid plans are billed as described at sign-up. Government fees payable to the Registry are separate and are never collected or paid by TM Watch; any fee figures shown are indicative government fees under the Trade Marks Rules and exclude professional fees.
Availability
We aim for reliable operation, but the service depends on third-party sources (including IP India portals) that may be unavailable or change. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FastLegal is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss of rights, deadlines, or opportunities, arising from reliance on the service. Because outputs are advisory and require your verification, you accept that the service is a decision-support tool and not a substitute for professional docketing and judgement.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
